I hope that you have requested this information pack because you are excited by the idea of conducting investigations and undertaking detailed research as a new career. We are certainly excited about the opportunity of teaching you these valuable skills. We do however understand that investing time and money in a new career requires careful consideration to ensure that this is the right career for you. Lets start by telling you something about TDC and the training programme you are about to undertake.

The Training and Development Centre (TDC) has been providing vocational training for over 25 years. The success of our training is due to two very important factors

1. All training carried out by the Training and Development Centre is delivered by qualified teaching staff who draw on their experienced to ensure each lesson is fully understood.

2. The qualifications and awards that TDC students receive on successful completion of this training programme are recognised and validated at local and national Level by The Open College Network and The City and Guilds through the Qualifications Credit framework. As each student moves through the training programme they build an impressive portfolio proving clear evidence to potential employers of the high level of modern investigation and research skills gained.

The TDC course allows for past experience to be taken into account. Each student learns at their own pace and receives recognition of their skills and achievements as they complete each level of the training programme. On successful completion of the course TDC student's will have attained awards from level 2 through to and including level 4.

Our students have gone on to find employment within law firms, insurance companies, commercial companies, local government, and some, with TDC help and assistance, have gone on to set up their own very successful investigation and research firms. By undertaking professional training with TDC, which is independently validated by highly respected awarding bodies you will be able to provide quality investigation and research services within your new role.
